Kasangga Congress

 Last August 26-27, 2006, the Kasangga Congress was held in Durian Garden Polomolok, South Cotabato. It helped renew the commitment of the Youth for Christ Leaders all over the island of Mindanao. Over 300 young youth leaders together with some young at heart couple coordinators gathered and renewed their commitment to the conquer all vision and most especially their commitment to God.

The Kasangga Congress focused on the conquer-all vision. The talks that were given helped us realize that conquer-all will happen whether we cooperate or not. We also realized that conquer-all isn’t just about introducing Youth for Christ to our respective provinces but its about letting God conquer our hearts and our whole selves. Lastly we should be united for us to bring glory to God through this conquer-all vision. Youth for Christ is not an ordinary organization which conducts yearly activities but it’s a movement that would change our world through faith in God.

After the Kasangga Congress all of the participants, whether a youth or a couple coordinator, is excited to make a change for God.

Kasangga COngress really inspired me to make a bigger step for God. Truly it empowered me to share God`s love to others. Sobrang touching ang every workshops na ginawa namin, sobrang enjoy and sobrang na enhance kami. Super thank you sa lahat ng tao na nagwork for Kasangga Congress and thank you most especially to God for allowing me to attend such activity.
